NSDC's Governing Board
According to the law establishing the Council, membership of the Governing Board should comprise the following:

• Chairman
• 2 Representatives of Sugar Producers
• 1 Representative of the Food, Beverage and Tobacco Sectoral Group of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria
• 1 Representative of the Nigerian Custom Service
• 1 Representative of the Sugarcane Out grower Schemes
• 1 Representative of Sugar Importers
• 1 Representative of the Federal Ministry of Industry
• 1 Representative of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture
• 1 Representative of the Federal Ministry of Finance
• The Executive Secretary of the Council

Currently, the following are the members of National Sugar Development Council's Governing Board.
